Geneius launch Genevision – to service the scientific community

DNA-based molecular approaches are now at the forefront of the academic toolbox and are used routinely and widely by the scientific community.

Consequently, there is growing demand for basic DNA sequencing to service a multitude of requirements – from the everyday development of primers (short DNA sequences used for a multitude of applications) through to specific applications such as the monitoring of targeted gene expression, chromosome ‘walking’, the mapping of candidate genes and the evaluation of differential gene expression via analysis of differential display patterns.

At the moment most academics across Europe send their samples for sequencing to service providers in the USA or Korea, so we thought it would be a good idea to give them a cost-effective alternative.
