SYNLAB MLST sets the standard for identification of pathogens

DNA sequencing technologies and applications such as Multi Locus Sequence Typing (MLST) are now the state of the art methods to characterise and investigate relatedness between strains of Listeria monocytogenes (and other species), as well as an alternative typing tool for Salmonella species and understand better the nature of their occurrences.
Tailored MLST schemes for Listeria, have been designed to clarify links between species and investigate possible origin(s) of contamination in factory environment, finished products etc.

In addition, all SYNLAB MLST platforms are perfectly compatible with schemes hosted by organisations such as Warwick University and Pasteur Institute allowing valuable information and references to be examined in order to maximise our understanding and characterisation of the isolates analysed.
